THE AREA La Parata is known as ‘The Valley Of Flowers’ and the Mojacar region is referred to as ‘The Corner Of Enchantment’, which may give you an impression of how beautiful this part of Spain really is. The Almeria region has one of the warmest climates in the whole of Spain, boasting 322 days of sunshine a year. The daytime temperatures average to about mid seventies in the winter. The valley of La Parata is extremely pretty. Communal well kept gardens surround the properties and lines the roads and a short stroll will provide you with enough fruit for a whole fruit bowl. Obviously the amount of fruit will depend on the time of the year, but you will be able to see oranges lemons and grapefruits. On the site we have English speaking resident, caretakers and management. A car is really a necessity during your stay.		THE APARTMENTS In all there are approximately 130 privately owned villas and pretty little pueblo style apartments. All of the timeshare units are either first or ground floor and have a balcony from the main living room. The apartments are well built with very spacious facilities, either one bedroom with one bathroom or two bedrooms with one bathroom or two bedrooms with one bathroom and a shower room. They all have a large lounge, which can sleep another two people, dining table and chairs and a sofa. The bedroom has fitted wardrobes and some have other doors that lead to other small balconies. The spacious fitted kitchens have a full gas cooker , but no dishwaher, or washing machine.. The bathrooms are tiled and have full size baths with shower attachment and pedestal hand wash basin and low level flush wash basin. The units have oil filled electric radiator - the type on wheels that can be moved from room to room. Sorry No TV at this resort. The beach is 5 minutes drive away. A CAR IS NECESSARY FOR THIS RESORT.

DIRECTIONS From Almeria Airport (avoiding the mountain pass road): Following the signs directing you out of the airport, turn right and join the dual carriageway directed towards Murcia. This road will join autovia E15/A7. After about 30 minutes you will leave the Autovia on exit 520. This road is signposted Turre and Mojacar. This is a narrow winding road and you will be going through Turre after about 6kms. Continue through the village until you come to the T-junction at the bottom of Mojacar village, a distance of 4.5kms. Turn left. Continue down this road to the next T-junction (2kms) and turn right. You will now be on the beach road - Mojacar Playa. After about 3.5kms look for a green oval restaurant sign with "Antoniella" written on it on you left hand side, or the "Gaviota" restaurant on your right at a junction. Take this turning to your right which is called "Calle Guardia Viejas" bear left into "Avenida La Parata" and this road will lead you to resort.
